RULES
AND REGULATIONS
Rosso
Arancio ass.n and the World Association of Festivals and Artists –
WAFA
invite
you to participate in the fifth contest of young talents for music,
dance and painting
(Arrival
date 19/6, Departure – 24/6/2012).
All
contests and festival activities will take place in Maiori – Italy
All
the contestants and guest should arrive in Naples airport or at last
in Rome,
in
this case the organization will try to organize transfers at an
affordable price.
AIMS
OF THE CONTEST
The
basic purpose of the contest is popularization and propagation of
children's‐youthful variety creativity,
strengthening
of friendly connections, creative contacts of children and youth of
different countries, and
also
familiarizing of children of various nationalities with Italian
creativity and granting of an opportunity by
them
to show the skills and features of the national culture.
Tasks
of the contest are:
a)
stimulation and development of children's and youthful variety
creativity;
b)
expansion and a deepening of the international communications in the
field of a cultural exchange.
CONDITIONS
OF THE CONTEST
Nominations
and age groups:
DANCE
Sections:
1.
Modern
2.
Classical
3.
Folk
Are
admitted groups up to 16 people;
The
groups will be divided into two categories
(up
to 13 years old and from 14 to 20 years old) for each section;
The
groups should perform two dances not longer then 4 min each.
INSTRUMENTALISTS
Sections:
Modern (pop/rock, etc.) Folk
Are
admitted to the competition both soloists and groups (up to 16
entries);
The
soloists will be divided into three categories (6 – 10, 11 – 15
and 16 – 20 years old);
The
groups will be divided into two categories (6 to 13 years and 14 to
20 years)
(will
be considered the average age of the elements).
The
performance for the contest it’s a free choice and must not exceed
8 minutes
(one
or two pieces).
For
Section "Classical music" can refer to Regulation
"EuroClassic".
SINGING
Sections:
1.
Pop (pop, rock, dance, etc.)
2.
Jazz (be‐pop,
latin, swing, etc.)
3.
Folk music
(2
songs not longer then 4 min each)
4.
Original song
Are
admitted to the competition both soloists and groups (up to 16
entries);
The
soloists will be divided into four categories: 6‐9 years, 10‐12
years, 13‐16 years;
‐
For
category 17 – 26 years old can refer to Regulation "EUROTALENT";
The
groups will be divided into two categories: 6 to 13 years and 14 to
20 years old
(will
be considered the average age of the elements).
For
first three categories songs for the competition are on free choice
and
must not exceed 4.00 minutes;
for
fourth category songs must be written by yourself or an composer;
Participants
in this section will have the opportunity to use an accompanying
"live" or on CD (‐).
For
Section "opera singers" can refer to Regulation
"EuroClassic”
PAINTING
(and/or visual arts)
A
minimum of 8 and a maximum of 15 participants;
The
theme of the work for the competition is "Summer in music";
The
work of the participants of this section will be shown to the public
for the duration of the Festival.
Before
the gala a panel of experts (artists, architects and journalists)
will work to judge the top three.
For
each section there will be a panel of industry experts who will
evaluate
the
performance of the participants.
In
the gala concert will perform only the first three of each section
and the relevant categories.
PRIZES
Sections:
Dance, Instrumentalists, Singing
Statuette
for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each section and certificates for all
participants;
A
soloist and/or a group selected by the organization of all categories
and sections,
will
be invited as a special guest to perform during the
International
Festival of Pop Music "Canzoni dal Mondo"
(Hotel
and accommodation will be for free).
Section:
Painting
Statuette
for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place certificates for all participants.
SPECIAL
PRIZES
Best
Stage Presence: Miss and Mister Festival;
Best
Original Song (for the participants that will perform an original
song);
More
artistic perspective: WAFA
prize.
A
draw will determine the order of performance of the participants in
all sections and categories.

participants will be accomodated to Hotel Panorama 4* (Maiori ‐ SA)
at € 62 per day per person

room) in H/B conditions (Breakfast and dinner)

choose to be accomated in Hotel 3*selected by the organization
(Maiori ‐ SA) at € 50 per day per person (double/triple room) in
H/B conditions (Breakfast and dinner)
for
admission to the festival is necessary to make a bank transfer of
half
of the amount (Hotel
reservation)
not

TRANSFERS
The
organization will provide of two transfer from the airport and/or
train station
in
Naples and Rome to Maiori:
19th
June ‐ The first bus will leave from airport/train station (Rome
and Naples) at 1’00 p.m.
and
the second bus at 8’00 p.m. (€ 30 per person from Naples, € 50
per person from Rome ‐ one way)
HOW
ENTRY
The
participants in the competition must send, no later than May 15,
2013,
an
e‐mail to eurokidsfest@gmail.com
with
attached:
1)
Entry form filled;
2)
A song in mp3 format in good quality (Singing
section);
3)
An internet video link where it’s possible view, at least, one
performance
(Instrumentalists
and Dance section);
4)
Three (3) images of works of art and/or pictures in jpg, in good
resolution. (Painting
section)
According
the article 10 of Law n° 675/96 on the protection of personal data,
the data provided at
registration
will be stored and used exclusively for the purpose of sending
communications about the
competition.
The
organizers reserve the right to make changes to this Regulation.
