 “EUROPEAN ARTS CONTEST”

EDITIA I

15-16 SEPTEMBRIE 2018

CRAIOVA

Prima editie a concursului international de interpretare instrumentala,vocala si dans“EUROPEAN ARTS CONTEST”,va avea loc la Craiova,pe 15 si 16 SEPTEMBRIE 2018 si se adreseaza tuturor celor care practica cântul vocal,studiaza un instrument  muzical,danseaza , profesionist ori ca amatori,intr-o institutie de invatamant de stat sau privata.

Concursul se va desfasura pe 2 mari categorii :

DIRECT in concurs sau INDIRECT(vezi mai jos)

Concurentii din afara Craiovei se pot inscrie si cu participare indirecta,prin transmiterea unui material audio-video mp4 (nu filmare din studio si nici link de pe youtube),odata cu formularul de inscriere,declaratiile si achitarea taxei de participare.Prestatiile acestora se vor juriza in cardul sectiunii la care sunt inscrisi dar in categoria INDIRECTA! PREMIILE SI DIPLOMELE VOR FI TRIMISE PRIN POSTA.

DESFASURAREA CONCURSULUI

Concursul va incepe la ora 10.00 si se va desfasura pe baza programarii care se va afisa pe data de 14 septembrie 2018 pe pagina de facebook a concursului ,pe care o puteti vedea si urmari,aici.

Toate categoriile concursului se desfasoara intr- o singura etapa,neexistand etapa eliminatorie!

Durata piesei prezentate in concurs nu trebuie sa depaseasca 5 minute la concurenții până în 8 ani ( au o singura piesa)și 10 minute la ceilalți( pentru că au 2 piese de interpretat).

Concurentii sectiunii Canto Clasic si interpretare instrumentala, vor trebui sa prezinte juriului  partitura piesei  pe care urmeaza sa o interpreteze in concurs.

Pentru siguranta, este bine ca participanții care canta pe suport negativ,să posede în ziua concursului un stick sau un CD cu negativul melodiei din concurs.

CATEGORII

Concursul este deschis tuturor interpretilor si se desfasoara pe categorii :

Amatori -pe grupe de varsta:4-5 ani,6-7 ani,8-9 ani.10-11 ani,12-13 ani,14-15 ani,16-17 ani.18-19 ani etc.

               -pe ani de studiu: 0-6 luni,6 luni-1 an,2 ani,3 ani,4 ani,5 ani,etc.

Profesionisti:in functie de anul de studiu in care sunt inscrisi intr-o forma de invatamant de stat.

  Sectiunile concursului sunt :

1.Muzica usoara 

–Concurentii pana in 8 ani trebuie sa interpreteze o piesa la alegere in limba materna sau o alta limba straina;

-concurentii peste 8 ani,trebuie sa interpreteze o piesa in limba materna si una intr-o limba de  circulatie internationala.

2.Muzica canto clasic

-concurentii peste 8 ani,trebuie sa interpreteze o piesa in limba materna si una intr-o limba de  circulatie international.

3.Muzica populara sau traditionala ,unde concurentii vor interpreta doar o piesa din repertoriul traditional al tarii din care provine.

4.Muzica instrumentala- concurenții interpreteaza o piesa cu acompaniament de pian (acolo unde este cazul).In această situație,nu se asigura corepetitor,concurentului ii revine sarcina de a – și aduce corepetitor personal sau sa ceara in timp util,contra-cost,unul!

5.Muzica Etno ( solo sau grup)-Concurentii interpreteaza o piesa in stil.

6.Dans orice stil- ( solo sau grup)

7.Dans popular ( grup- OBLIGATORIU REPREZENTATIV TARII DE UNDE PROVINE CONCURENTUL)

INSCRIEREA

Inscrierea la concurs se va face in perioada 20 august -13 septembrie 2018,prin e-mail la adresa europe_arts@yahoo.com.

Fisei de inscriere I se va adauga OBLIGATORIU negativul  in format MP3(valabil celor care canta cu negativ).E-mailurile care nu vin insotite de negative (acolo unde este cazul),NU sunt luate in considerare,deci inscrierea nu va fi vaildata!

TAXELE de participare in concurs sunt sub forma de DONATIE

-100 lei/participare individuala sau 30 Euro pentru concurentii straini +TAXE

-50 lei/ persoana  pentru cei care participa in grup( de la 2sau 3 persoane) sau 15 Euro /persoana pentru concurentii straini (2 sau 3 persoane)+TAXE

-30 lei/persoana  pentru grupurile alcatuite din 4 persoane sau mai multe,sau 10 euro/persoana pentru concurentii straini.+TAXE

Pentru concurentii care participa la 2 sectiuni,se aplica o reducere de 50% la cea de-a doua sectiune.+TAXE

       Taxa de concurs va fi depusa in contul

     deschis la Banca Transilvania ,titular cont I.I. SAIN OLGA EMANUELA, cu mentiunea  DONATIE concurs.

Plata se poate face cu cash la ghiseu sau prin transfer bancar .

Asigurati- va că achitați și comisioanele tranzacției,acestea nu intra in sarcina organizatorului.

In cazul neprezentarii in concurs, DONATIA nu va fi returnata dar va putea fi luata in considerare pentru participarea intr-un alt concurs organizat de Scoala de canto “Olga Sain”.

PREMII

TROFEUL  CONCURSULUI ‘’EUROPEAN ARTS CONTEST’’ ,500 de lei și invitația la următoarea ediție de a susține un microrecital dar și participarea în juriu.

JURIZAREA

Juriul este alcatuit din licentiati in muzica,profesori de canto,artisti lirici,artiști instrumentiști ,dansatori și profesori de dans ,etc.

Criteriile de jurizare sunt:

-dificultatea si corectitudinea repertoriului ales,intonatia 30 %
-interpretarea repertoriului alaturi de miscarea scenica si impresia artistica 60%
-tinuta adecvata varstei si genului sectiunii la care participa 10 %

Juriul isi rezerva dreptul de a nu acorda premii la unele categorii.Premiantii au obligatia sa participe la decernarea premiilor,ALTFEL,PREMIUL SE ANULEAZA!

Decizia  juriului este definitiva si irevocabila.

Completarea cererii de inscriere la concurs presupune acceptarea integral de catre candidat a conditiilor stabilite in prezentul regulament.

 Cererea de inscriere va fi insotita de o fotografie a candidatului inscris ,in format digital.

Probele de concurs sunt publice si se vor desafsura in sala de spectacol a Liceului de arte “Marin Sorescu” din Craiova.

Premiile se vor inmana dupa fiecare categorie,in cadrul unei  festivitati de gala a laureatilor.

Organizatorul nu isi asuma responsabilitatea pentru drepturile de autor  si cele conexe ale acestora pentru melodiile interpretate in concurs,Concurentul este singurul responsabil pentru orice consecinte directe sau indirecte ce pot aparea in urma interpretarii piesei alese de el in concurs.

Toate cheltuielile de transport si/sau cazare ale concurentilor ,vor fi suportate de participant. Pentru cei care doresc cazare pentru  concurs,putem sa venim in ajutor  cu prezentarea de oferte de cazare si masa ,la cerere.

Concursul  va fi filmat si difuzat pe postul local Gtv si va fi difuzat pe postul regional .Cei care doresc ulterior un Dvd cu filmarea concursului, sunt rugati sa mentioneze pe fisa de inscriere acest lucru si vor achita 30 de lei inaintea concursului.

 “EUROPEAN ARTS CONTEST”

FIRST EDITION

The first edition of the international contest of vocal, instrumental and dance performances “EUROPEAN ARTS CONTEST”, will take place in Craiova, on 15 and 16 SEPTEMBER 2018 and is directed towards all who sing, practice a musical instrument or dance, at both professional and amateur levels, in an educational institution which is of the state or private.

The contest will unfold in two major categories:

DIRECTLY in the contest or INDIRECTLY (see below)

I.PROFESSIONALS

II.AMATEURS.

7.POPULAR DANCE (groups)

Contestants from outside of Craiova can also sign up through indirect participation, by sending an mp4 audio-video footage (not studio-filmed footage or Youtube links), at the same time with the entry form, the declarations and payment of the participation tax. These performances will be assessed within the section they are registered, but in the INDIRECT category! THE PRIZES AND THE CERTIFICATES WILL BE SENT BY POST.

CONTEST DEVELOPMENT

The competition will begin at 10.00 AM and will evolve based on the programme which will be posted on 14 september 2018 on the contest’s facebook page , which can be found here.

All the contest’s categories will commence in one single round, there will be no elimination round!

The duration of the songs performed in the contest should not go over 5 minutes for the contestants which are 8 years old or less (for they only sing one song) and 10 minutes to the others (for they sing two songs).

The participants of the Classical Canto section and instrumental performances will have to show the jugdes the score for the song they will perform.

For safety, it is advised that the contestants who are backed by an instrumental to have an USB stick or CD with their backing instrumental on it.

CATEGORIES

The contest is open to all performers and has different categories:

Amateurs –by age:4-5 years,6-7 years,8-9 years,10-11 years,12-13 years,14-15 years,16-17 years.18-19 years etc.

               -by years of study: 0-6 months,6 months -1 year,2 years,3 years,4 years,5 years, etc.

Professionals:by the year of study they are enrolled to in a state educational institution.

  The sections of the contest are :

1.POP Music 

– Contestants up to 8 years old have to perform a song of their choice in their mother tongue or another foreign language.

- Contestants over 8 years have to perform a song of their choice in their mother tongue and one in an international language.

2.Classical canto music

- Contestants over 8 years have to perform a song of their choice in their mother tongue and one in an international language.

3.Popular or traditional music , where contestants will perform only a song from the traditional repertoire of the country they come from.

4.Instrumental music- The contestants will perform a song with piano backup (where there is necessary). In this situation, a coacher will not be assigned to the contestant and it is up to him to bring one or to request one for a fee, in due time.

5.Etno music ( solo or groups)-The contestants perform a song in the aforementioned style.

6.Dance-any style ( solo or groups)

7.Popular dance ( groups- THE DANCE HAS TO BE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COUNTRY THE CONTESTANT COMES FROM)

SIGNING UP

Registration for the contest will be made through e-mail from 20 August-13 September at the address europe_arts@yahoo.com.

It is NECESSARY to add the instrumental for the song (if there is the case) in MP3 format once with the registration form. E-mails without instrumentals (where there is the case), are NOT taken into consideration, thus the registration will be nullified!

PARTICIPATION TAXES come as DONATIONS

-100 lei/individual participation OR 30 Euro for foreign contestants +TAXES

-50 lei/ person for group participation( 2 or 3 people) OR 15 Euro /person for foreign contestants (2 or 3 people)+TAXES

-30 lei/person for groups made of 4 or more people, OR 10 euro/person for foreign contestants. +TAXES

For contestants who participate in 2 sections of the contest, a  50% reduction   will be applied to the second entry.+TAXE

The tax can be paid cash at the counter or by bank transfer.

 Make sure you pay the factorage for the transaction, the organizer has no obligation to do so.

In case of not showing up at the contest, THE DONATION will not be returned, but will be taken into consideration for participanting at another contest organized by Scoala de canto “Olga Sain”.

ASSESSMENT

The jury is made by people licensed in music, canto teachers ,lyrical artists, instrumental players ,dancers and dance teachers ,etc.

The assessment criteria are:

-the difficulty and correctness of the chosen repertoire ,intonation 30 %
-the performance of the repertoire along with stage movement and artistic impression  60%
-appropriate attire of the age and genre of the section 10 %

The jury has the right to not give prizes to some categories. The prize winners have to participate to the award ceremony. Otherwise, THE PRIZE WILL BE CANCELLED

The jury’s decision is definitive and irreversible.

Filling in the registration form requires the candidate’s agreement with the terms and conditions mentioned in this regulation

 The registration form will include a picture of the candidate ,in digital format.

The stages of the contest are public and will take place in the performance hall of the “Marin Sorescu”Art High School from Craiova.

The prizes will be handed after each category, during a festivity of the prizemen.

The organizer does not take responsibility for the copyrights of the songs performed during the contest. The contender is the only one responsible for any consequences which may occur following the performance of the song chosen by him.

All the transport and/or housing expenditure of the contestants will be supported by the participants. For those who wish housing during the contest, we can help suggesting housing and meal offers, by demand.

The contest will be filmed and broadcasted at the local channel Gtv. Those who want a DVD with the screening of the performances subsequent to the contest are asked to mention this on the registration form. The price is 30 lei, which will be paid before the contest.
