Regulament Festival "Gold Leaf" , 25-29 septembrie 2013 , PÄRNU, ESTONIA

4th „Gold Leaf" International Children's and Youth Song Festival
PÄRNU, ESTONIA
SEPTEMBER 25 - 29, 2013
ORGANIZER: PÄRNU HOUSE OF THE ARTS
AIM OF THE FESTIVAL

We wish to offer all participants the opportunity to introduce their culture and music traditions. The festival is an excellent occasion for youth to share practical and methodical experiences as well as to formulate many new friendships.

The Pärnu House of the Arts organizes Gold Leaf which is a contest for vocal soloists and groups. The singing competition has categories in pop-jazz, folk song, duets and ensembles. The jury will consist of members from various international countries. Concerts will be held at locations in the city of Pärnu and it´s surrounding county.

This festival is designed for children and young people whose primary pursuit largely is the study and the enrichment of their chosen art form. Most of their learning takes place from autumn to spring concurrently with the traditional school year. Thus by spring these young green "leaves" have been enriched and as summer passes are transformed into "golden leaves" ready to use their newly acquired skills.
